WR Pierce has visits planned

Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West senior wide receiver recruit Alec Pierce (6-foot-3, 191 pounds) has been looking harder and harder at his college options these days. Pierce checks in and talks about his upcoming official visit plans and more here.

"I'm down to two schools for the most part," Pierce said. "I'm going to make official visits to Cincinnati and also Miami of Ohio. I've been still in touch with some of the Big Ten schools who are interested but I'm focused these days on Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio."

Pierce will make his first official visit this weekend to Cincinnati.

"I'm going to make an official visit Cincinnati this weekend. I'm looking at visiting Miami of Ohio in January and I'm going to set up that date soon with the coaches."

So what will Pierce look for when he makes his first visit this weekend at Cincinnati?

"I've never been to Cincinnati so I'm just excited to see the campus and all the facilities. I also want to spend time with the tam along with getting to know the coaches better at Cincinnati. I just want to get a better feel for the schools and the team this weekend."

Pierce also reflected back on his 2017 senior season.

"We didn't finish the season the way we wanted but we did win the conference championship and that was one of our goals. I was able to play on both sides of the football and I just played as hard as I could this season. I know I could have done better at times but overall I felt good about my season."

Alec Pierce has multiple scholarship offers.
