QB Bryant is ready for college

LaGrange Park (Ill.) Lyons Township senior three star ranked quarterback recruit Ben Bryant(6-foot-3, 195 pounds) is finally ready to sign his Letter of Intent on Wednesday to Cincinnati. Oh, and Bryant's last day of high school happens to be today and will be in a University of Cincinnati uniform in early January. Bryant recaps his long recruiting journey and his upcoming college career here.

"Tomorrow (Tuesday) is my last day of high school," Bryant said. "I'm graduating early and I finish high school on Tuesday, sign my Letter of Intent on Wednesday then I report to Cincinnati on January 6th and start classes on January 8th."

Bryant, who originally committed to Wisconsin last fall before having his offer rescinded by the Badgers talked about finally signing his Letter of Intent on Wednesday to Cincinnati.

"I'm so excited to finally sign and end my recruiting. I'm just tired of recruiting. I'll be signing my Letter of Intent on Wednesday and we are having a ceremony at school later at 2PM. I took my official visit to Cincinnati a few weeks ago and it went great. Cincinnati has always been very welcoming and it was a good chance to get to know a lot of the other recruits better. Everyone got along well and it's a really good recruiting class. After the official visit I'm even more excited about Cincinnati and the football program."

Bryant admits that it still really hasn't hit him yet that he will be in college in less than a month from today.

"It really hasn't hit me just yet. Maybe it will hit me tomorrow when it's my last day of school. It definitely has hit mo Mom and my family for sure. I'm just excited about getting on with my college career. I'm looking to go in and earn some early playing time."

So does Bryant have any advice for younger kids about to jump into the recruiting process?.

"Definitely watch yourself on social media....and I also went to a bunch of camps before my junior year and that's when I started to draw a lot more looks and recruiting attention."

Ben Bryant is verbally committed to Cincinnati.
